A Tree in Memory

Single-player short narrative video game

A Tree in Memory invites the player to dig inside an elder’s memories. A person sits inside a house (what seems to be), surrounded by objects (some hard to identify). As the player explores the room, a narrator tells disjointed stories. Memories or tales? Happy or sad? A lot is left unsaid. Inspired by the theme of ‘‘everyday magic’’, this game celebrates the natural wear of life and pays tribute to our elders who carry with them precious stories and wait for death.
